BASHA: The Authority in Abstract Graffiti

BASHA is an abstract-graffiti artist and the creative force behind the innovative art form known as Absgraff®. His style blends abstraction and graffiti, showcasing recurring black and white designs referred to as CHAOS. The CHAOS designs captivate the viewer's eye but also contain concealed messages that gradually reveal themselves over time.

BASHA's signature technique involves incorporating elaborate chaos at the bottom of his paintings, juxtaposed with a minimalist aesthetic of serenity at the top. The name "BASHA," written in all capital letters, has its roots in Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan, symbolizing concepts of kingship and respect.

From 1995 to 2006, BASHA painted graffiti in the west coast cities Salt Lake City, Vegas and LA painting streets and freight trains. BASHA's artistic achievements have earned him widespread acclaim, with his works featured in esteemed institutions like the Saatchi Gallery, the Michael K. Corbin Foundation, and the Teen Recovery Wing at Primary Children's Hospital. Private collectors from all corners of the globe highly value his coveted Absgraff® pieces, cementing his status as a sought-after artist in the art world.
